This pastel is based on a recent sunset out the back windows of my house. Although I love recreating sun rises and sunsets, that is not what attracted me to this sky. It was the wispy clouds that caught my attention and that challenge to create them in soft chalk pastel. This pastel painting is sold matted and framed.
