Evening Song

In this painting I wanted to create a unique evening sky graduating in colour from a pale teal in the centre to a darker teal on the outside. Contrasting the lightness of the sky is a solid grey wall that supports the small bird on the far right, but the other bird and branches are not exactly attached to or supported by the wall. For me, the sound of the birds singing as the daylight is going, is one of my favourite things in a day.
